APC training – Module 3: Construction Technology

This APC revision module comprises of 4 units for you to choose from depending on your work experience. It equates up to 4.5 hours of formal CPD.

We would recommend all candidates to complete unit 2 regardless of area of specialism as assessors may ask you questions on general topics if your project experience is too narrow. This often happens with candidates in the civil engineering and M&E specialisms.

This module will provide you with all the basic level 1 knowledge in Construction Technology (you may need to study some topics in more details if they are the focus of your case study). In addition, your APC trainer will explain you how to demonstrate level 2 and 3 in this competency.

Advice to complete your summary of experience and examples of common APC questions are provided throughout the training videos. You will also be given access to associated study notes and revision materials.

Unit 2: Superstructure (1 hour)

Unit 3: Mechanical and Electrical Works (1.5 hour)
